Vital Electronic Visit Verification wants to help health care providers make sense of the concepts of EVV and are building data tools and software solutions that will drive informed decision making and efficiencies. We believe that it can be a challenge for health care providers and we want to improve access to information, break down data silos, and ultimately give everyone the tools they need to be successful.
The 21st Century Cures Act, is a federal law, passed by Congress in December 2016, that in part requires all state Medicaid programs to implement an Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system for personal care services (PCS) and home health care services (HHCS). All states must implement an EVV system to avoid a reduction in federal Medicaid funding.
